  22. I do not know about the syquest, but it boots fine from my
  23. Zip.  There is a key that you can hold down that will force
  24. it to boot from the external SCSI, but I forget-- and I
  25. still haven't quite figured out the Amiga-Mac Key mapping. 
  26. However, I would suggest that you boot from whatever device
  27. you booted from before and use the startup disk command in
  28. the control panels to set the syquest as the boot drive. 
  29. Then it should work fine.  Actually, this is one time where
  30. the syquest might just beat the zip.  My Zip was a little
  31. too slow to be the Mac System drive 8^( .

  33. In any case I would try booting with some other disk in
  34. order to make sure that the Mac and the Syquest are
  35. talking.

  37. (The key is the {wierd pound sign}-Option-Shift-Delete for
  38. bypassing the internal drive.)
